Returning for its second year, the Dubai Design Week will be from 24th-29th October 2016 across the city.

Establishing itself as a cutting-edge, global design hub, last years event attracted designers, architects and industry leaders from over 150 of the world’s top studios, agencies, brands and educational institutes. Presenting work, exchanging ideas and showcasing innovative design, this is set to continue this year with over 100 events taking place in Dubai Design District over the six days.

Aiming to support UAE-based multidisciplinary design talent, the city is already well known for its forward thinking architecture. Celebrating Dubai’s approach to urban enterprise, the event is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in strategic partnership with Dubai Design District (d3), and sponsored by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Dubai Design & Fashion Council and Audi.

Keep your eyes peeled for further details to be released later in the summer and if you’re planning a trip for some winter sun in October, Dubai may well have the weather and cultural pursuits you’re looking for.
