A luxury manor house set in a 4,5000 acre private country estate is Wilderness Reserve. A luxury collection of serviced family farmhouses, cottages and manor houses available to rent for weekends or longer stays. Only a short drive from our celebrated Heritage Coast and a two hour train journey from London, it is easily accessible and the ultimate bolt hole.
Sibton Park, the largest property in the collection, was built in 1827 and is a Grade II Listed Georgian country house offering accommodation for up to 24 people in spacious bedrooms with luxurious en-suite bathrooms – perfect for all the family over the winter period. The triple height entrance hall leads into beautifully proportioned formal reception rooms.
The land surrounding Sibton Park has been returned from arable use to the parkland it is today under the watchful eye of the celebrated landscape designer, Kim Wilkie. This has been a near 20 year project to create long serpentine drives, parkland trees and follies as imagined by Lancelot (Capability) Brown with astonishing uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape.
Wilderness Reserve offers all the country pursuits you’d expect from a traditional English Estate, including: clay-pigeon shoots, fishing, bird-watching, buggy tours, cycling and boating.
Sound great? You can book Sibton Park for £4,000 per night including daily housekeeping. The smaller properties Clockhouse and Barn are also available.
